FontLister 2.0 for Windows 95 - by Peter Theill FontLister helps you browse your fonts - either installed or not. You can install a font by choosing "Font-type -> Uninstalled". Browse to the directory with the uninstalled fonts and click OK. You'll now see a list of uninstalled fonts. By clicking on them, you can quickly find the fonts you like. Right-click a font and choose "Install font" (you can also select multiply fonts). FontLister then returns the number of installed fonts. Notice: FontLister copies the fonts to the Fonts folder if you have checked the "Copy fonts to Fonts folder" in the Options-menu. If you would like to delete a font, just right-click on it, and select "Delete font" (you can also select multiply fonts). If you have checked the "Confirm font-delete" (default) in then Options-menu, FontLister will pop up a window, asking you to accept. Click on Yes to move the font to the Recycle Bin. Notice: If you regret a font-deletion, you can open the Recycle Bin, find the font and click on Restore. When you wants to print out some (or all) of your fonts, click on "File -> Print..." or simply press Ctrl-P (or left-click on the Printer-icon). A window pops up, and you can choose to print one, three or all the text lines in the text-window. Also, you can select to print the selected font, the text-window or all your fonts. You can customize your page-setup. Choose "File -> Page Setup..." to change your page-setup. You can write your own header and footer. Important, you _have_ to write {$PAGE} (capitalized) if you want a pagenumber in you header/footer. Likewise with {$DATE} and {$TIME} which are respectively current date and current time. You can also select your left margin - normally this is just 0.0, but on some printers it would be better to set it to 0.5 or 1.0. By double-clicking on any font, you'll get detailed information like the height and width of the font. ESC quickly leaves the window. You can also view your fonts in "Compare"-mode. Click "View -> Change Mode -> Compare" or click the button with two A's and choose Compare. In compare-mode, you'll see multiply fonts at once. The sample-text are simply the first line of the text-window. Legal stuff: This product is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind.
